Frequently Asked Questions

Got a question? Here are the answers to some of the most common queries we receive from homeowners across Aberdeen, Westhill, Portlethen, Stonehaven and Peterculter.

What areas do you cover?

We cover Aberdeen, Westhill, Portlethen, Stonehaven and Peterculter. If you are not sure whether we work in your area, just get in touch and we will let you know.

What boiler brand do you install?

We exclusively fit Ideal boilers. We have chosen to work exclusively with Ideal due to our extensive knowledge of the range and our affiliation with the brand. Every Ideal boiler we fit comes backed by the full manufacturer’s warranty.

How much does a new boiler cost?

The price of a new boiler depends on the model you choose, the type of system in your home and whether any additional work is required. We will provide a clear, fixed quote before any work begins. Finance options are also available to help spread the cost. Get in touch for a personalised quote.

How long does a new boiler installation take?

Most straightforward boiler replacements can be completed within a single day. More complex jobs, such as fitting an entirely new central heating system or moving a boiler to a new location, may take longer. We will give you a clear timescale as part of your quote.

Do you offer emergency plumbing?

Yes. We provide a 24-hour emergency call-out service for plumbing emergencies across our service areas. Whether it is a burst pipe, a boiler breakdown or a sudden leak, we are available around the clock.

How often should I have my boiler serviced?

We recommend having your boiler serviced every 12 months by a qualified Gas Safe registered engineer. Annual servicing keeps your boiler running efficiently, helps prevent unexpected breakdowns and keeps your manufacturer’s warranty valid.

How much does a powerflush cost?

Our powerflush service is priced at £400 for up to 8 radiators. A powerflush cleans your central heating system from the inside, removing sludge and debris to restore efficient, even heat throughout your home.

What is the RWR Homecare Plan?

The RWR Homecare Plan is our monthly cover plan designed to give you ongoing peace of mind for your boiler and heating system. It covers both new and existing boilers on a rolling monthly subscription basis. Get in touch for full details and pricing.

Are you Gas Safe registered?
